ERC Grants

The ERC Grants awarded by the European Research Council (ERC) are the most prestigious form of European research funding. Providing very substantial funding, the ERC Grants enable awardees to take on complex projects. The Research Council offers different funding schemes for both up-and-coming researchers and established top scientists. Website of the European Research Council

The ERC Proof of Concept (PoC) grant line is a grant that can be awarded in addition to the main ERC grant lines (Starting, Consolidator, Advanced and Synergy Grant). It is thus exclusively aimed at researchers who already hold an ERC grant and wish to further develop a research result from their ongoing or already completed project beyond research.
