Academic support and access services
In order to overcome impairment-related difficulties in the organisation and implementation of studies, in examination and teaching situations, the Contact and Information Centre for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (KIS) offers support in the form of academic support and access services if required, e.g. to help with organisational issues.
To make use of the academic support and access services, please make an appointment with the Contact and Information Centre for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (KIS) staff.

How does the study mentor support me?
- Support in lectures and seminars (e.g. taking notes)
- Support with the creation of learning plans
- Study-related organisation (e.g. support with creating a semester plan)
- Reminders of study deadlines and dates
- Support with the creation of to-do lists
- Agreeing and reviewing short, medium and long-term goals
- Regular appointments to discuss the current and target status of your studies
Learning group
Study group
We offer a non-judgemental environment for students who are looking for support and structure to fulfil their academic potential. Our study group is designed to provide the opportunity to learn and grow together - each person at their own pace. At the beginning of each session, we offer brief instructions and present learning strategies to help and motivate participants.
