Building accessibility

The University of Würzburg's event rooms, institutes and administrative facilities are spread across several locations in the city and some of the buildings are old and difficult to access.

The University is endeavouring to improve accessibility, even if this is not always possible to the full extent due to old building structures. In any case, the university management's representative for students with disabilities and chronic illnesses is consulted in all plans for major remodelling and new construction measures in order to take the needs of these students into account.

On the following pages you will find a description of the individual buildings for your orientation.
If you are hindered in your studies by a specific structural barrier, please contact the Contact and Information Centre for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (KIS) team. We will deal with your enquiry and check together with the building department whether a general or individual solution is possible.

On the following pages you will find the university buildings organised alphabetically (German only). The pictures in the text serve to illustrate the various buildings and can be enlarged by clicking on the respective pages.
