You will need a computer with a reliable internet connection and a webcam/microphone. The exam lasts 90 minutes and consists of two equally weighted parts:

Candidates invited for interview will participate via video conference. The interview is conducted in front of the admission board and includes:

  1. Presentation (10 min) – on a recent research project (e.g., Bachelor thesis), covering results, experimental design, controls, statistics, interpretation, and summary.
  2. Discussion (10 min) – assessing engagement, comprehension, ability to contextualize work, and response to critical questions.
  3. General interview (10 min) – exploring scientific career plans, knowledge of current life sciences developments, general knowledge, and communication skills.

Evaluation is based on presentation quality, discussion engagement, and overall interview performance.
