Teachers as Changemakers (TaC)
Today's and future generations of pupils have to face the social and ecological challenges of our time. Topics such as sustainability, social justice and health play an important role in pupils' everyday lives and mindsets. Teachers play a key role in this by moulding pupils and guiding them towards lifelong learning. Personal and key competences that encourage creative and solution-oriented thinking and create openness to change and innovation as well as a proactive self-image play an important role here. We endeavour to promote these skills in particular through social entrepreneurship education.
Social Entrepreneurship Education is an educational approach that empowers pupils to shape their own future in an ecologically sustainable, socially and economically responsible way. They engage with social entrepreneurial thinking and action and acquire the necessary expertise. Even if the children and young people do not later set up their own company, it promotes their personal development. They experience self-efficacy, learn to think critically and reflect on what they have learnt.
Do you want to incorporate topics such as sustainability, social justice or health into your lessons or teaching using innovative methods, but don't know how? Then take part in our various (teaching) events and train to become a multiplier of social entrepreneurial thinking and action. Teacher trainees can collect a few ECTS points in the free area on the side.
