On 26 November 2025, starting at 6 p.m., the Uni Würzburg Community, the Welcome Centre and the Office of the Vice-President for Internationalisation and Alumni invites all international doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, professors, affiliates, and university staff to a winterly get-together at Klinikstraße 3.

We are pleased to invite you to the next International Science Community Meeting on 26 November 2025. This Winterly Get-Together invites (both short- and long-term) international doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, professors, affiliates, and university staff who are involved in or interested in internationalisation to join for an evening of networking, academic discussion, and seasonal exchange.

The evening will begin with a warm welcome from Prof. Dr. Doris Fischer, Vice-President for Internationalisation and Alumni, who will share the university’s vision for internationalisation.

Following a brief seasonal impulse, guests can enjoy freshly made waffles and punch in a relaxed and informal setting. This provides a wonderful opportunity to meet peers, make new connections, share ideas, and expand the professional network in an international context.

At the heart of this event lies interdisciplinary and international networking, giving participants the chance to explore creative solutions and forge new synergies across disciplines and borders.
