The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFor) will hold an online information event for JMU researchers on 23 March, 10:00-12:00, about funding opportunities for social sciences and humanities research in the new European research programme Horizon Europe.

Horizon Europe is the ninth European framework programme for research and innovation and will be running from 2021 to 2027. The first calls are expected to open in April this year and will include relevant topics for the social sciences and humanities, e.g. in the cluster "Culture, creativity and inclusive society" (you can find further information about the EU research topics on the website of the National Contact Points)

This BayFor online (Zoom) event is for JMU researchers in the social sciences and humanities. The focus will be on the upcoming Horizon Europe funding calls for international research consortia. Interested researchers at any career level are invited to attend. There will also be enough time for questions and discussion.

The event will be held in English.
