Application documents in Germany

This lecture focuses on typical application processes in Germany. The following questions will be addressed:

• How to identify your competences and where to find job advertisements that fit to your profile as well as to your ideas for the future?
• What needs to be included in the CV, what can be left out?
• What characterizes a powerful cover letter?
• Why and how to use speculative applications?
• What needs to be taken into account due to AI in recruitment and CV parsing?

Additional knowledge and tips will be shared by guest lecturers, including Emma Phelan and Dr. Darlene Murphy - experts from the Language Centre.
