First Steps Events
You have questions concerning your exchange experience at JMU Würzburg (e.g. application, enrolment, housing)? No problem, we got you covered! Come join us and other fellow students for the following first steps events.
The University of Würzburg is waiting to welcome you! To make your transition to our university as smooth as possible, we are offering an online orientation for all incoming students. Be sure to sign up for one of the orientation events listed below – you’ll be glad you did! You’ll have the unique chance to hear directly from our International Students Office Staff and get all of the inside information you need about application, student dorms, getting a visa, German courses, health insurance, and more – all from the comfort of your own computer. Don’t miss it!

Be sure to determine what time that corresponds to in your time zone prior to the day of the online event.
Please send an email (enrolment@uni-wuerzburg.de) with your preferred time in order to register for the online orientation until January 08, 2024 at 14:00.
You have applied and are preparing your exchange semester in Würzburg? Great. You have been with us for a while, but you still have lots of questions? Join us at one of our First Steps Events and learn everything you need to know about accommodation, enrolment, visa, timetable planning, the University’s rules and regulations etc.
Of course, our First Steps Events are also a great way to meet fellow international students! We will offer these events in a hybrid mode (face-to-face and in case you can not join us in person you can join us virtually). Updates can be found on this page, so please stop by every once in a while to be well informed.
