ePayServiceBayern
This payment option is only available to students who wish to re-enrol ONLINE. For enrollment, please use bank transfer as your payment method.
With re-enrolment for the 2026 summer semester, we now offer electronic payments via ePayServiceBayern in addition to the SEPA single direct debit procedure. You can use this to make payments by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) and PayPal.
The following information is intended to help you avoid potential errors and enable you to pay your semester fees quickly.
This is what you need to know:
- You can only make payments with Mastercard, Visa, or a PayPal account.
- You must be the authorized user of the specified credit card/PayPal account. Payments to third-party accounts (e.g., parents) are not possible.
- Please ensure that your credit card/PayPal account has sufficient funds, i.e., that there is sufficient credit available in the account or a sufficient credit line. Partial redemptions are generally not possible.
How do I re-enrol via ePayServiceBayern? This is how it works:
- Log in to WueStudy using your login details (user ID, password).
- During the re-enrolment period, click on the “Student services” quick link to access the re-enrolment function.
- Here you will be guided step by step through the re-enrolment process. Once you have selected “Kreditkarte oder PayPal” as your payment method, you will be redirected to ePayServiceBayern. Here you can choose whether you want to pay by credit card or PayPal. You will then be redirected to your payment service provider, where you can initiate the payment. If the payment was successful, you will be redirected back to WueStudy, where you can finally complete your re-enrolment.
- You can then immediately print out your new semester certificates on your PC and go to a validation station with your student ID card (chip card) to validate your ID card.
FAQ's:
Your cancelled payment will be reset overnight, so you can initiate payments in WueStudy again the following morning from approximately 6 am.
In WueStudy, you will see an error message with the text: "Obstacles: The payment status of your payment is unknown. You will receive a message as soon as it can be determined."
This message means that your payment initiated via ePayServiceBayern has not yet been fully processed. This could be because the payment was canceled and we still need to delete it from WueStudy. Alternatively, the payment may only be reserved by your payment provider and has not yet been released to us.
