 International sustainability Days "Euro-Ibsa"

(Europe, Indian, Brasilian, Southafrican) Lectures, discussions and events

From 4 to 13 of July the alumni office in Wuerzburg organises a workshop about sustainability  as major topic and challenge in different areas and different countries in the future. 

Diverse topics such as energy, resources, philosophy, and biodiversity will be discussed. A group of international alumni will enrich the discussions about challenging topics with their different professional backgrounds (geography, philosophy, biology, chemistry, physics, etc.)

Students, Alumni and all citizens are warmly welcomed!

Saturday, 5 of July 2014, Setting the mood for Wuerzburg, for our international guests only

  • 1 p.m. Personal meeting with Prof. Gerhard Sextl, director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research (architect of new building Zaha Hadid)

For many years Frauke Fischer worked as a researcher and the director of Würzburg University’s International Research Station in the Comoé National Park in Ivory Coast (West Africa).
