Scientific RVZ Symposium: Next Generation Automated Confocal Imaging

This RVZ Symposium, organised by our research group Heinze, in collaboration with ZEISS, will provide insights into recent advancements in microscopy for Life Sciences applications.
Convince yourself in a scientific program of lectures and system demonstrations how your work can benefit from:

  • Innovative confocal microscope platform for 4D imaging with the new Multiplex mode for parallel pixel acquisition on Airyscan 2.
  • Latest advances in superresolution microscopy – with the recently launched Lattice Structured Illumination Microscopy (SIM).
  • Optical sectioning with the enhanced automated research platform to get more information from your three-dimensional samples with confocal imaging, Airyscan 2 or fast GPU deconvolution.

We are proud to welcome our special speakers Dr. Ralf Palmisano from the Optical Imaging Centre Erlangen (OICE) with his lecture "Spatio-Temporal Imaging of Volume Samples – An Imaging Institutes Point of View" and Prof. Dr. Philip Kollmannsberger from the Center for Computational and Theoretical Biology of Würzburg (CCTB) who will talk about "Automated Quantification of Cell-Cell Interactions in Large 3D Microscopy Data".
