Science Slam

The 7 x 7 format remains!

As always, the fields of study and topics of the presentations are very diverse. Alumni, professors, PhD students and research assistants from JMU and THWS will compete against one another to win over the audience. Cartoons, experiments, live singing – in this academic short-talk tournament, anything goes to elicit the loudest applause from the audience. This year’s slammers come from a wide variety of departments, and you can look forward to an evening packed with diverse content!

The next slam takes place on Friday, 13 November from 7–9 pm at Z6!! Doors open at 6.30 pm

The entry fee is €6, with the proceeds from the evening going towards the Germany Scholarship . The Alumni Science Slam is a collaboration between the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and the City of Würzburg.

Where can I buy tickets?

From mid-October, tickets will be available at the Falkenhaus on the Market Square, at the student's representation on Hubland, at the THWS libraries in Würzburg and Schweinfurt, and from the Staff Council at the hospital on Josef-Schneider-Straße in Grombühl .
