Science Slam auf der MS-Wissenschaft 2026

10 September 2026, at 8 pm: The Science Slam as a special event on the MS Wissenschaft

The researchers really got the MS Wissenschaft rocking and thrilled the audience with gripping presentations.

This year’s Science Slam, organised by the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg in collaboration with the UKW, took place as a special event at an extraordinary venue outside the usual lecture theatres: it was held on board the MS Wissenschaft.

This exhibition ship provided a unique backdrop for the scientific short-presentation competition.

Researchers, alumni and lecturers presented their fields of expertise in vivid, entertaining short talks.

Whether through experiments or creative presentation styles – the aim was to inspire the audience without resorting to dry theory.
