Science Slam 2019
The winner of the 2019 Science Slam is Prof. Dr Karsten Kilian!
On 8 November 2019, the big Science Slam took place in collaboration with the FHWS
Seven slammers gave entertaining presentations on their various fields of research and work. Prof. Markus Fischer, last year’s winner in the non-competitive category, kicked things off and set the tone for an entertaining evening with a successful opening talk. From a talk on the impressive capabilities of a pea brain to the ambiguity of erotic poetry, the evening had it all. In the end, Prof. Dr Kilian from the Chair of Brand and Media Management at the FHWS was crowned the winner by the audience with the loudest applause of the evening for his talk on ‘The Magic of Brands’.
We congratulate our winner, Prof. Karsten Kilian, and would like to thank all the slammers for their entertaining contributions, as well as our alumnus Johannes Keppner for his equally amusing and charming hosting of the evening!
