Besides platforms like the alumni portal or the alumni facebook group, which helps connect JMU alumni with each other, the alumni office organizes a variety of events, e.g. the Science Slam or meetings of regional groups throughout Germany. In addition, the alumni office creates international platforms like the USA-Chapter to support the exchange between alumni and their university and thereby create a lively network.
