New IFEX Logo

The Interdisciplinary Research Center for Extraterrestrial Science (IFEX)  announces the launch of its new logo after a lengthy development phase. The new logo unifies IFEX's two mission and research areas, Space Science and Technology, and UAP Research and SETI in an appealing and expressive way. It was designed to highlight the center's unique combination while symbolizing the search for the unknown.

The core element of the logo is a stylized blue "E" in the center in the shape of an ellipse with two prominent notches. This representation symbolizes the two research areas of IFEX and at the same time conveys the fascination for the unknown, which is a central motivation of the members of the center. The color of the "E" corresponds exactly to the color of the university logo, which emphasizes the close connection and anchoring of IFEX as an interdisciplinary institution within the university.
