Intravitalmikroskopische Aufnahme aus der Leber eines Mausmodells: Ein Thrombozyt (türkis) haftet an der entzündeten Gefäßwand (gelb gestrichelt) und schnürt einen langen, fadenförmigen Membranfortsatz ab – einen sogenannten PITT (magenta).
