What is that?
The student parliament is the legislative body of the students. It consists of 42 members and is the highest body of student representatives.
Every year, 20 members from the council of student bodies and 20 members from political university groups are elected in the university elections. The two directly elected student senators are also automatically members.
What does the student parliament do?
The student parliament generally discusses the interests of the students towards the university, the student services and third parties. Economic, social and cultural issues are particularly important here, but the political positioning of the student representatives also takes place.
