School visits
Lecture
We would be happy to inform your students in a presentation about the following topics, among others:
- University admission in general: application or enrolment; deadlines and dates, aptitude tests and other special requirements, etc.
- Admission to higher education in particular: Restricted degree programmes: Application to hochschulstart or directly to the university; How does the application work; NC, waiting time and other selection procedures; Where can I find further information or the application forms, etc.?
- Degrees: Bachelor/Master, Diplom, Magister, state examination: Advantages/disadvantages, differences, etc.
- The degree programmes at the University of Würzburg
Depending on your wishes, a lecture can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
On request, we can also take time afterwards for individual student counselling, e.g. on questions regarding specific study options.
As an alternative or in addition to the above programme, we would also like to draw your attention to our uni@school project. Details can be found on the uni@school information page.
Info fair
If you are planning an information day or an information fair at your school on the subject of studying/training, we would also be pleased to hear from you: We would be happy to take part with our own information stand and provide full or half-day information on studying at the University of Würzburg. Of course, your pupils will also receive detailed information brochures on study opportunities at the University of Würzburg at the information stand.
In order to give your pupils an even more comprehensive insight into studying at the University of Würzburg, we recommend attending the following events:
Campus tours
We would be happy to organise a unit day for your pupils: your pupils can attend an event, find out more about our university and the courses on offer in an information lecture, have lunch in the canteen and get to know the campus grounds on a tour.
During a visit to the University of Würzburg, pupils have the opportunity to get to know the university and the campus with its diverse facilities and programmes as a class and to get a taste of the campus atmosphere for a day.
An individual programme can be put together for the visiting groups as required.
You can also get to know the University Library with the 90-minute "Uni-Bib for Schools" course. Please contact the library directly.
