Guide to Sustainable Living and Studying

…at this point, we could show pictures of lonely baby polar bears on ice floes, melting glaciers, sinking atolls, and the burning Amazon rainforest.

But we won’t!

By now it´s (fortunately) common knowledge that our climate is changing and that, combined with the rapidly growing world population, this will have dramatic consequences. What’s much less clear, however, are answers to the question “What can I do myself?” Sustainable and ecological living already sounds expensive. And money is probably the last thing the vast majority of students have in abundance. With this guide, we want to show you in practical terms how you can study sustainably even on a student budget. Our tips cover everything from the big topic of nutrition to energy and even climate-friendly banking.

Our previous guide has just been completely revised and now includes a small map with the locations of relevant shops and initiatives in Würzburg. It is also available at the Student Representation office.
