On 11 December 2025, the first cartilage transplant produced at the University Hospital of Würzburg was on its way to implantation. This involved several stages of quality control.

At the end of November, the 300th liver transplant was performed at the University Hospital of Würzburg. The recipient was a 64-year-old woman with advanced autoimmune hepatitis.
