Interdisciplinary Center for Addiction Research

On December 21, 2000, with the approval of the Senate, the

"Interdisciplinary Center for Addiction Research at the University of

Würzburg (IZSW)" was founded with the approval of the Senate. The 31 founding members adopted

a legally relevant statute and elected an advisory board and a board of directors.

According to the statutes, the IZSW is to contribute to the development and promotion of

interdisciplinary addiction science through research,
