Teaching at JMU

At the University of Würzburg, lecturers instruct more than 25,200 students in ten faculties in around 280 degree programmes for high-skilled professions.

With passion and a spirit of innovation, they are constantly working to improve the quality of teaching and develop new, forward-looking courses. Thanks to the close integration of teaching and research, students are directly involved in academic projects and introduced to academic work at an early stage.

Success with robots and stumbling blocks

The Lower Franconian secondary school prize was awarded in Haßfurt on 28 April 2026. The University of Würzburg was responsible for awarding two special prizes through the "Teachers as Changemakers" project.
