Degree programme development

The University of Würzburg has established a binding procedure for the establishment of a new degree programme and for its modification, substantial modification or cancellation, which specifies the processes, parties involved and responsibilities as well as deadlines and dates and is set out in procedural descriptions. The procedures described claim that legal certainty, availability of resources and curriculum are formally checked and ensured. The University of Würzburg implements a culture of active cooperation between the faculties and the central administration throughout the entire development process when establishing and developing (sub-)degree programmes.
