About

Prof. Dr. Caroline Kisker has been the Head of the Chair of Structural Biology at the Rudolf Virchow Center since 2006 and Dean of the Graduate School of Life Sciences at the University of Würzburg since 2009.
Since October 2019 she is Chair of the Academic Senate of the University of Würzburg.
She is also a member of the

- International Advisory Board of the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw

- Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
Previously she was Deputy Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research in Braunschweig (2011-2019).
