Prof. Caroline Kisker has been the Head of the Chair of Structural Biology at the Rudolf Virchow Center since 2006 and Dean of the Graduate School of Life Sciences at the University of Würzburg since 2009.

She is also a member of the Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and Deputy Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research in Braunschweig.

In spring 2017, the plenum of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities elected Prof. Caroline Kisker as one of its new members.
