WueLAB Challenge at the CHARM-EU Impact Days
From 8 to 19 June 2026, CHARM-EU students on the ‘Global Challenges for Sustainability’ Master’s programme visited the University of Würzburg and WueLAB, where they tackled a ‘challenge’ set for them by the sustainability lab: The task involved developing a concept for how international students could find out about what WueLAB has to offer, how they could be better integrated, and how the ‘participatory wall’ (future frame) could be used specifically to support external communication. Two groups chose to take on this challenge at WueLAB and began by conducting a survey to develop a concept based on the results. We would like to thank them for the exciting collaboration!”

Final report on the student-led ‘Klima-Café’ transformation experiment
The Climate Café was the first student-led transformation experiment at WueLAB. It ran from June 2024 to October 2025 and has now been successfully completed.
Below you will find the results and an overview of the project.
The Student Policy of WueLAB
In December 2024, a student-led initiative was developed at WueLAB.
As an institution aiming to foster and encourage student engagement and initiative in the field of sustainability, the Sustainability Lab offers students a range of opportunities to participate and get involved. The student concept outlines these various opportunities offered by WueLAB, develops new ideas and analyses the needs, expectations and appropriate framework conditions for student engagement. The results of the student survey conducted at WueLAB were incorporated into this process.
