Comprehensive understanding, goals, and approach to conflicts
Why conflict management?
Conflicts are part of everyday life—even at university. Different perspectives, misunderstandings, or unclear communication can cause friction and, if the conflict escalates, develop into a permanent source of stress for those involved. However, if recognized early and dealt with constructively, conflicts offer opportunities for personal and organizational development.
What are our goals?
- Promoting respectful and appreciative interaction with one another

- Improvement in work satisfaction
What to do in case of conflict?
- Seek dialogue, because everyone bears responsibility.
- Can't find a solution? Get support from your manager.
- If the direct manager is unable to resolve the conflict, the next higher level of management is called upon.
- Employees and managers can seek support from the conflict counseling center at any time.
