An Evening for the International Science Community

11/18/2025

The University Würzburg Community and the Welcome Centre of the University invites to the International Science Community Meeting on Wednesday, 26 November. An opportunity for international researchers to network.

On Wednesday, 26 November, the next meeting of the international scientific community of the University of Würzburg will take place. This "Winterly Get-Together" is aimed at international researchers who are guests at JMU, as well as all university members who are involved or interested in internationalisation.

The meeting will take place in the rooms of the Schelling Forum of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Klinikstraße 3; it will start at 6 pm and is expected to end at around 8 pm.

The Programme

The evening will begin with a welcome address by Doris Fischer, Vice President for Internationalisation and Alumni, who will present the university's plans in the field of internationalisation.

After a short, seasonally appropriate impulse, guests can enjoy freshly prepared waffles and punch in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. This is an opportunity to meet like-minded people, make new contacts, exchange ideas and expand  a professional network in an international context.

The University of Würzburg Community and the JMU Welcome Centre are jointly organising the event.

Registration is required by 24 November via: https: //go.uniwue.de/internationalsciencecommunityjmu
