The Finance Department is responsible for the Julius-Maximilians-Universität's finance and accounting in the state budget. In particular, the department is responsible for external and internal accounting, financial planning with resource allocation, the management of purchasing and small construction measures as well as the centralised management of third-party and special funds and the University's economic activities.

The employees see themselves as service-orientated partners in all financial matters. To this end, they provide users with the tools, processes and services they need.
