CHARM-EU

Since 2022, the University of Würzburg has been a member of the CHARM-EU European University Alliance. CHARM-EU represents a challenge-driven, accessible, research-based and mobile university model aligned with European values and global sustainable development goals (SDGs). The alliance consists of nine European member universities.

Co-funded by the European Erasmus+ program, CHARM-EU aims to create a new higher education model that will demonstrate how to enhance the quality, international competitiveness and attractiveness of the European higher education landscape. CHARM-EU partner institutions, together with regional and international partners from business and society, develop challenge-based study, research and exchange programs that contribute to solving global challenges and to a more sustainable and inclusive future.

Workshop 2: Programmatic Assessment

To get to know programmatic assessment better, Hochschule Ruhr West and Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg offer a three-parts workshop series. In the first part, you will discover the basics of programmatic assessment and will have the possibility to adapt this approach to your classes. In the second part, you can explore how this approach is implemented in CHARM-EU´s Master of sustainability. We will offer a third part in spring to give all participants of both workshops the possibility to connect further and discuss their first steps with programmatic assessment in their own classrooms and discuss challenges.
