The University Board has decided that Julius-Maximilians-Universität will be closed from 24 December 2025 up to and including 6 January 2026. During that time, the Examination Office will be closed, too. We will resume operations on 7 January 2026.
Documents that must reach us by a particular deadline (theses) can be dropped in the letter box of the Neue Universität building at Sanderring 2 or sent to the Examination Office by postal mail!

To register for your thesis, you will have to submit a separate registration form to the chairperson of the examination committee. From there, it will be forwarded to the Examination Office. As soon as we receive your registration form, we will enter the details into the WueStudy system.
- Request to be issued with a replacement of a lost or destroyed document(diploma, certificate, transcript of records, diploma supplement)
Please get in touch immediately if you have any problems registering for assessments online - you can contact us in person, over the phone or by email. Any problems reported after the registration deadline will not be accommodated.
Examination Office staff will not be able to register you for assessments after the registration deadline!
All registrations for assessments must be made through the WueStudy portal.
