The Universitätsbund is looking for speakers
04/14/2026For its 2026/27 winter lecture series, the Universitätsbund is once again looking for speakers who would like to help spread knowledge from the university to the region.
Every winter semester, the Universitätsbund, the society of friends and supporters of the University of Würzburg, offers lectures on current topics at various locations in Main- and Tauberfranken. The feedback from the towns and communities shows the great interest in the lecturers and their lecture topics.
The audience consists of open-minded citizens who enjoy the generally understandable communication of different topics and specialist areas. This form of knowledge transfer and personal encounters has long since become an integral part of local cultural life.
The Universitätsbund would like to express its sincere thanks for the many interesting suggestions for topics and for supporting the last lecture series.
Topic suggestions until 12 May 2026
Researchers and lecturers who would like to take part in the winter lecture series can send suggestions for topics with a short, easy-to-understand description of the content of the lecture (maximum two to three sentences) by 12 May 2026 via email to Ursula Hopf, u.hopf@web.de, or to vorstand.unibund@uni-wuerzburg.de. Any questions can also be sent to these addresses.
