This year, the Press Office is once again offering a series of training courses for researchers who want to become more professional in science communication - here are all the courses and dates.

Anyone who wants to appear professionally in the press needs to know a few tricks – a training series helps researchers do just that. Science needs a strong voice - the Press Office and Professional Development therefore support researchers with a further education programme on science communication. The programme comprises five courses, one in English, and is aimed at doctoral students, post-docs and professors. Secure one of the places now - multiple registrations are possible!

1) Catch-up date from 2025: Science communication in funding applications (only in German)

Science communication is playing an increasingly important role for researchers when it comes to acquiring third-party funding. In this seminar with Kim Otto, you will learn how to effectively plan, implement and evaluate communication strategies from the outset.

2) Social Media Workshop (only in German)

Do you want to use social media to make your research accessible to the general public? You will also gain a valuable overview of suitable channels and formats and learn what makes a professional social media strategy.

3. Camera and interview training (only in German)

Would you like to appear confident and convincing in front of the camera? In this seminar with Kim Otto, you will learn how to present complex research content clearly and confidently.
