It is common knowledge that exercise, regeneration, stress management and the right diet are healthy and beneficial. However, many people find it difficult to integrate these self-care options into their daily lives.

The Amyloidose-Zentrum Nordbayern which is based at the Deutsche Zentrum für Herzinsuffizienz Würzburg (DZHI), is cordially inviting all interested parties to a lecture on Wednesday, 5 November 2025 to show how this can be implemented efficiently. Dr Andreas Petko, Coordinator of General University Sports at the University of Würzburg, will provide tips and smart hacks suitable for everyday use - from light and cold applications to blood sugar regulation and tried-and-tested methods for more energy and balance.

The free event is aimed at patients with diseases such as amyloidosis, heart failure or multiple myeloma, as well as healthy people. It starts at 3.00 p.m. and ends at 4.15 p.m. with a joint discussion and snack. The venue is the DZHI, Am Schwarzenberg 15, House A15. The lecture is going to be held in German.

To attend, please register by 29 October 2025 at the latest by emailing selbsthilfe@ukw.de.
