10/21/2025

On 21 and 22 October 2025, the Mensa at the Hubland South Campus will once again open its doors for the study&stay job fair - the University of Würzburg's career event. Over 70 companies from all over Germany will be there.

For two days, the campus will be all about careers, networking and future prospects. From industry and the automotive sector to management consultancy, healthcare and IT through to construction companies, public authorities and the media sector - the variety of exhibitors represented is huge. The fair thus offers students from all disciplines the opportunity to make personal contact with potential employers and gain an insight into different professional fields.

"For many of our students, study&stay is their first direct contact with companies," explains the organisation team at the University of Würzburg GmbH. "It's an uncomplicated way to start a conversation, ask questions and gain valuable insights - without any formal application pressure."

Diverse Supporting Programme

In addition to the company stands, visitors can expect a varied supporting programme: The Career Centre of the University of Würzburg offers a free application portfolio check on site, where students can have their documents individually checked and optimised. There will also be a professional application photo shoot, which can be used free of charge - a service that is very popular every year.

Another highlight is the big competition with attractive prizes. "This is of course an additional incentive, but the real prize is the many contacts and opportunities that arise at the fair," the team continues.

The study&stay job fair is aimed at students from all subject areas and semesters - from the first thoughts about career planning to the actual start of a career. Whether it's a compulsory internship, working student job or direct entry: there are suitable offers for every stage of your studies. Many of the companies come to Würzburg specifically to attract young talent from the region.

"Our aim is to build bridges - between studying and working, between academia and practice," summarises the organisation team. "The aim of study&stay is to show that career planning can be fun and full of exciting opportunities."

The event will take place on both days of the fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the cafeteria at the Hubland South Campus. Admission is free and registration is not required.
