For all prospective students: Study Info Day at the university
02/24/2026What happens after the Abitur? The University of Würzburg's Study Info Day on 4 March at the Hubland Campus will provide answers: lectures, information stands and a hands-on programme will help sixth form students make their choice.
Prospective students can look forward to an exciting day at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU) on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, from 8:00 a.m.: The Study Info Day at the Hubland Campus offers an exclusive insight into the university's diverse world of study. Numerous lectures on the various subjects, information stands from the ten faculties and an interactive afternoon programme are planned. All information can be found on the event website.
Individual counselling and "hands-on science"
The Study Info Day will take place in the central lecture theatre and seminar building Z6 at Hubland. The lectures start at 8.30 am. There, visitors will learn all about the university's 250 degree programmes - from "Academic Speech Therapy" to "Dentistry". At the same time, the faculties' information stands will offer individual counselling sessions and information on admission requirements, course content and life on campus.
A highlight of the Study Info Day are the hands-on activities in the afternoon from 13:15 - then there's "hands-on science"! For example, participants can visit aerospace research laboratories, try out virtual reality technology in the human-computer interaction lab and gain insights into the art education workshops. A list of all the activities on offer can be found on the programme website.
Participation free of charge, registration not necessary
Anyone who wants to take part can simply drop by on 4 March and does not need to register in advance. Participation in the event is free of charge. The best way to get to the Hubland Campus is to take bus lines 14, 114, 214, 10 and 29. There are also bicycle parking spaces and free parking in front of the building and in the multi-storey car park of the adjacent university library and canteen.
