Reduced opening hours at the Central Library

The Central Library of the University of Würzburg Library is adjusting its opening hours during the summer months. Reduced opening hours will apply from 1 August up to and including 13 September 2026.

The Central Library will be open at the following times during this period:

  • Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 8.00 pm
  • Saturday: 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
  • Sunday: closed

In addition, the Central Library will be closed on the Feast of the Assumption, Saturday 15 August 2026.

The opening hours of the branch libraries remain unchanged. An overview of the current opening hours for all locations is available on the University Library of Würzburg’s website:
