PD Dr Sven Flemming, Deputy Head of the Department and Outpatient Clinic of General, Visceral, Transplant, Vascular and Pediatric Surgery (Surgical Clinic I), University Hospital, has been appointed, with effect from 1 October 2026, for a fixed term until 30 September 2031, as a university professor of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at the University of Würzburg.
Max Fröhlich took up his post on 1 October 2026 as a member of the technical services staff in Department 6 (Technical Operations Service Centre) of the central administration.
Prof. Dr Grit Hein, Department of Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy, has been offered a W3 professorship at HMU Health and Medical University.
The private-law employment contract of Dr Michael Schuhmann, university professor at the Department of Neurology, was terminated by mutual agreement with effect from 30 September 2026.
