Dr Camelia-Maria Monoranu, "Privatdozentin" of Neuropathology, Senior Physician, Institute of Pathology, was appointed "Außerplanmäßige Professorin" with effect from 17 November 2025.
Dr Nadja Simons, Junior Professor, Theodor Boveri Institute of Bioscience, was reappointed Junior Professor of Applied Biodiversity Research at the University of Würzburg with effect from 1 May 2026.
Dr Lucas Stich, Junior Professor, Institute of Management, is reappointed Junior Professor of Marketing Analytics at the University of Würzburg with effect from 01.04.2026.
Dr Karl-Heinz Weis, Emeritus Professor of Anaesthesiology at the University of Würzburg, passed away on 29 September 2025.
Dr Lena Wimmer, member of the academic staff, Chair of Psychology IV, has been granted venia legendi to teach psychology with effect from 2 December 2025.
