Dr. Peter Ache, Akademischer Oberrat, Julius von Sachs Institute of Biological Sciences, will retire at the end of March 2026.

Constanze Erfeling, Central Administration, Finance Service Centre, Unit 3.2 (Accounting), was assigned to Unit 3.1 (Budget) with effect from 1 March 2026 and appointed as its head.

Dr. Julia Geißler, Member of the academic staff, Clinic and Polyclinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy, has been granted venia legendi for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology with effect from 24 February 2026.

Sebastian Pogoda, Central Administration, Finance Service Centre, Unit 3.3 (Purchasing), was appointed Deputy Head of this unit with effect from 01.03.2026.

Karl-Heinz Putz, Regierungsinspektor, Unit 2.3 (Examination Matters), Central Administration, will retire at the end of March 2026.

Privatdozentin Dr. Carmen Roch, Akademische Oberrätin, Clinic and Polyclinic for Radiotherapy and Radiooncology, was appointed University Professor of Palliative Medicine at the University of Würzburg for five years with effect from 15 February 2026.

Prof. Dr Stefanie Samida, Institute of German Philology, appointed to a tenured professorship as University Professor at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg with effect from 1 March 2026. Her civil servant status for life with the Free State of Bavaria will therefore end by law at the end of 28 February 2026.
