Dr. Stefan Dech, University Professor at the Institute of Geography and Geology, will retire at the end of September 2026.
The temporary appointment of Professor Dr. Margit Ernst-Habib as a university professor in salary grade W 3 for Protestant Theology I, specialising in Systematic Theology and Contemporary Theological Issues, will be terminated by mutual agreement on 30 September 2026, in accordance with the agreement dated 20 August 2026/02.09.2026.
Klaus Hahn was appointed Head of Department 6, Technischer Betrieb, with effect from 1 October 2026.
Lukas Klüpfel, Regierungssekretär, Human Resources Service Centre, central administration, has been granted lifetime appointment into civil service with effect from 24 September 2026.
Prof. Dr. Christian Ludwig, visiting professor at Freie Universität Berlin, has been granted venia legendi for the subject area ‘Didactics of English Language and Literature’ with effect from 9 September 2026.
Dr. Tobias Mühling, Research Fellow at the Institute for Medical Education and Training Research, has been granted venia legendi in the subject area ‘Medical Didactics’ with effect from 10 September 2026.
Dr. Wolfgang Rößler, University Professor at the Theodor Boveri Institute of Bioscience, will retire at the end of September 2026.
Dr. Annette Thurner, Senior Consultant, Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, has been granted venia legendi in the subject area of ‘Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology’ with effect from 10 September 2026.
Stefan Wettengel, Regierungsoberinspektor, Legal and Electoral Affairs Unit, central administration, is appointed as Regierungsamtmann with effect from 1 October 2026.
Dr. Clemens Wustmans will, from 1 October 2026 until the post is permanently filled, but no later than 31 March 2030, be appointed on a temporary basis to the post of university professor in salary grade W 3 for Protestant Theology I, specialising in Systematic Theology and Contemporary Theological Issues.
