Dr Susanne Dinkl, Akademische Rätin, Chair of European Ethnology/Empirical Cultural Studies, has been appointed Akademische Oberrätin with effect from 1 July 2026.
Dr Carmina Fuß, Junior Professor, Medical Clinic and Polyclinic, was reappointed Junior Professor of Translational Medicine at the University of Würzburg with effect from 24 May 2026.
Dr Svenja Hümmer, Akademische Rätin, Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, was appointed Akademische Oberrätin with effect from 1 June 2026.
Honorary Professor Dr Barbara Hunfeld, Akademische Oberrätin, Institute of German Philology, was appointed Akademische Direktorin with effect from 1 June 2026.
Dr Florian Kleefeldt, Assistant Professor, Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, has been reappointed Assistant Professor of Translational Medicine at the University of Würzburg with effect from 25 May 2026.
Dr Rhonda McFleder, Junior Professor, Department of Neurology, has been reappointed Junior Professor of Translational Medicine at the University of Würzburg with effect from 24 May 2026.
Dr Christine Noe, Akademische Oberrätin, Sports Centre, was appointed Akademische Driektorin with effect from 1 June 2026.
Dr Felix Pollinger, Akademischer Rat, Professorship of Physical Geography, was appointed Akademischer Oberrat with effect from 1 July 2026.
Prof Dr Andrea Reiter, Institute of Psychology, has declined an appointment at the University of Freiburg.
