Nico Ertl, Bibliotheksinspektoranwärter, University Library, was appointed Bibliotheksinspektor with effect from 1 October 2025 with a probationary appointment into civil service.
Privatdozent Dr Peter Frühmorgen, Chair of Pastoral Theology and Homiletics, replaces Dr Joachim Bürkle as a representative of the group of academic staff and doctoral candidates on the Faculty Council of Catholic Theology. His term of office extends from 7 October 2025 to 30 September 2027.

Dr Peter Kristen, Private Lecturer in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Würzburg, passed away on 5 July 2025.
Prof. Dr Michael Kube, research associate at the Neue Schubert-Ausgabe (Tübingen), will be employed from 1 October 2025 until 31 March 2026 at the latest to replace Prof. Dr Konstantin Voigt on a temporary basis in the position of a university professor at grade W 3 for Musicology II at a rate of 44.44 per cent.
Dr Carlotta Posth, Junior Professor, Institute of Modern Languages, was granted authorisation to teach in the subject areas of Older German Literature and Older Romance Literatures with effect from 8 October 2025.
