Max Laininger has been working in administration at the Family Service since 1 March 2026.
Prof. Dr Patrick Meybohm, Director of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Pain Therapy at the University Hospital of Würzburg, is taking over the scientific management and coordination of the new National Study Network for Intensive Care Medicine together with Prof. Dr Carina Benstöm (University Hospital RWTH Aachen). The network includes all 37 university hospitals in Germany. Its aim is to create robust evidence for intensive care therapies and thus further improve the care of critically ill patients of all age groups.
Daniel Wirth, Akademischer Rat, Institute of Geography and Geology, has been appointed Akademischer Oberrat with effect from 1 March 2026.
