University outpatient clinic for psychotherapy for children and adolescents

On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, the University of Würzburg will celebrate the opening of the university outpatient clinic for psychotherapy specialising in children and adolescents.

Die Nachfrage nach Psychotherapie bei Kindern und Jugendlichen nimmt seit Jahren stark zu. Bald gibt es ein neues Angebot an der Universität Würzburg.

"In the university outpatient clinic specialising in children and adolescents, we treat children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 20. We offer both individual and group therapy and have a research focus on social interaction in the transition period from adolescence to adulthood," explains Professor Katja Bertsch.

The Chair of Psychology I - Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy will present the centre together with her colleague Professor Andrea Reiter (Professorship of Psychotherapy and Intervention Psychology).
