All-round view of mental health issues
04/07/2026Mental health is at the centre of a new series of public events at the University of Würzburg. It starts on 22 April 2026 with the topic: "Anger and rage: where do these feelings come from and how do I deal with them?"
"Mental health in trialogue" is the title of a new series of events at the University of Würzburg. Why trialogue? The individual events are intended to bring science, personal experiences and social perspectives into dialogue with each other.
The trialogue will take place regularly every three months and is aimed at all interested parties - those affected, relatives, specialists and the curious - who want to discuss mental health issues in a well-founded and understandable way. The aim of the series is to make knowledge accessible and facilitate dialogue.
Kick-off in April 2026
The organisers - the University Outpatient Clinic and the Research Unit for Psychotherapy at the University of Würzburg - have recruited two renowned experts to launch the series: Prof Dr Katja Bertsch and Dr Linda Wilkin-Krug will discuss the topic "Anger and rage: where do these feelings come from and how do I deal with them?"
Katja Bertsch is head of the Würzburg Chair of Psychology I - Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy; Linda Wilkin-Krug is a research assistant there. The two have been investigating the psychological and neurobiological foundations of aggression for over 15 years. The focus is on current research findings on brain processes and practical strategies for dealing with these feelings in everyday life.
