The Department of Urology and Paediatric Urology at the University Hospital of Würzburg (UKW) is organising the 3rd Würzburg Incontinence Day together with the University Women's Hospital on Saturday, 20 June 2026. The event is aimed at people affected by incontinence, their relatives and all other interested parties. It will provide an overview of the therapeutic spectrum available at the UKW in gynaecology, urology and general surgery as well as in urological and physiotherapy practices on site.

Presentations provide answers

Between 10.00 am and 12.45 pm, experts will give short presentations answering questions such as: Who can help me with chronic pelvic pain - and how? Which digital aids are used in modern incontinence therapy? Am I too old for pelvic floor surgery? What can I still achieve myself with faecal incontinence? What does the Lower Franconia Continence and Pelvic Floor Centre, which was certified in February of this year, do? The various special consultation hours for the broad field of incontinence are also presented. At the end, participants will have the opportunity to discuss with the experts.

The free event will take place in the lecture theatre of the paediatric clinic of the UKW in building D31 on Josef-Schneider-Straße.
