Open to all: series on interculturality and diversity

06/09/2026

Patriarchy and Eurocentrism - racism in science - online media and the cohesion of society: the University of Würzburg invites you to discuss controversial topics.

Students at the University of Würzburg repeatedly ask their lecturers for more intercultural and diversity-related skills to be taught. The university has responded to this: On Monday, 15 June 2026, another edition of the "Intercultural Competence in Special Education" series will start.

"The doors are open to everyone. In addition to students and lecturers, guests from outside the university are also expressly welcome," says Johanna Lawall from the Chair of Emotional and Behavioural Disorders Education, who is organising the series in cooperation with the GSiK (Global Systems and Intercultural Competence) teaching project.

The events take place in room 00.107 of the university building on Wittelsbacherplatz; participation is free of charge. Access is barrier-free .
