New Programme for Foreign Guests

Visiting academics from other countries often only come to the university for weeks or months, but sometimes for longer periods. They include, for example, female professors who are guest lecturers at JMU or young researchers working on their dissertations. Some bring their families with them.

There is a meeting point outside the university for the foreign guests. It is organised by a group that puts together a varied programme semester after semester. It includes social evenings in the university's guest house right next to the city canteen, as well as lectures and excursions.
